Scotland Chipping - AmD Technik OneClick reprogramming box

I saw a letter in the "gomini" magazine for a reprogramming device called a OneClick from a company called AmD Technik for the ONED. The claim is that it boosts bhp from 75 to about 100. Anybody out there know anything more - reliability, torque figures, experiences?

Hmmm,

Think it's more to do with BMW having to rewrite the DME to fix the "Oil Starvation" issue which disassociates the OneClick from the new ECU and throws an ECU mismatch code...

Basically, the OneClick locks itself down to a car's ECU. If the content of the ECU is different - i.e. if a new ECU is inserted or if the DME is completely factory erased and rewritten with new code, the OneClick sees it as being a different vehicle and accordingly refuses to reprogram it with modified (or stock) code.

Just thought you might want to understand fully what is going on with the Cooper & Ones.

Best wishes,

Ram

Hello Ram,

I just read the BMW problem about the oil starvation. I know pretty much about automotive engineering. Could you explain to me what sensor would tell the engine management system that it has to go into lean/ get home mode because of an oil starvation? I can't really think of any sensor which will give this signal....

Hope to hear from you.

Hi "R",

Don't recall saying that there was any sensor involved?

Why don't you give us a call on +44 1869 323 205 to discuss.

Hope to hear from you!

Thank you for your reply. But I prefer communicating by internet instead of my mobile phone.

Is also listed under MINI.
Website makes it sound too good to be true, will be interested to hear from you next week blb.
Did you not get some chip put in by the derv doctor a while back?
Are you going over to tunit's place - it sounds like they can do a much better job than if you buy and fit the box yourself.

Lets us know the results..................
