S Filler cap

Afternoon All,

Does anyone know if there's any reason the cooper S fuel cap cannot be popped onto a OneD? I think they look rather nice....

Who's told you it can't be fitted, a dealer by any chance?

They are just a straight swop over. The only difference is the look of course. All the fittings are the same.

Make sure the car is unlocked

Wheel Off
Wheel arch liner out
2 X 10mm nuts holding the filler neck on to be removed
Unclip the filler cover fom the inside with a thin flat screwdriver, there is three little clips that hold it in place.
Then just pull it out.

The Cooper S filler cap will fit straight in its place, No worries

Then refit in reverse order

No-one told me it wouldn't fit, I just wanted to check before paying any money for one.

I fully understand the process of this modification but i cannot source one on the Web i've tried ebay and using Search engineS but with no Luck Thanx JSR
