how is a mini one D with 4 years and 150000kms

Hi,
There are anyone who have mini one d with 4 years and 150000kms or more ?
How is the car ?
- Funny noises in the interiror
- Wind noises on the doors
- Engine is ok

I'm considering on bying a mod but i do 35000kms per year.
mod is just a fancy good looking car or it really do the job right.

The car wasn't launched until summer 2003, but someone may have eaten that many miles in 2 years if you're lucky.

Thanks ... i didn´t realize that mod have only 3 years.
What i´m trying the ear is an opinion for somone who have one for mor than a year, and use it everyday.

The UK launch date was June 7th 2003 - the day I ordered mine.

40000 km and 2 years later, it still drives like I just drove out of the showroom.

It will provide you with excellent service throughout it's life - provided that you look after it of course.

Mine has 38000 miles now and is feb 04. It is used as my own car as well as a driving school car. Only problems have been a cracked engine mount and a new alternator, although the garage took several attempts to work out the problem each time. Couldn't imagine having any other car now (well, except the new one I've ordered for November!).

Did 32000 miles on first One D ( had 2 new alternators) apart from that no probs.
Second one April 05 build ,seems a lot smoother and gearbox is much improved.

42000 miles from August 03 and engine is now running very smooth.

Apart from the odd bit of scratched door trim the only thing needing replaced has been, wait for it...

the alternator! (seems to be a bit of a pattern with the previous posters).

Hi just to add to whats become the alternator pattern! Daisy has done 31000miles and she had her alternator changed two days ago
Other than that though she has and is a dream of a car to drive and of course gets excellent mpg

One of my D's has now done 33,000 miles with learner drivers with no problems at all.

Next week I will hit the 80.000 km with my June 03 built MOD.
I hope to keep the car for some more years and making 200.000+ km on it.
I'm using the car for every days driving. No problems. Runs very nicely and smoothly.

BTW: anyone with more than 100.000 km (60.000 miles) on the MOD?
