Just Ordered Bluefin from Lohen

Just ordered a bluefin superchip from lohen.co.uk! Wondering how long it will take to arrive? Can't wait!

Yeh I think I've caught the modifying bug. Started with the spot lights, just got a new head unit a few days ago, sounds brilliant, now the bluefin, and next new speakers and a viper! Dunno what i'll want to listen to more! Any suggestions for good quality speakers that fit straight into the factory positions?

I'm not saying it is the cause but it might be prudent to wait until they find out what caused this one - that's what I'm doing before I order mine anyway!

Good Point, ive read that thread too....But......

....You should note that whatever company tuned that car used a 'Custom' Bluefin re-map....Which means they've changed the bluefin data it's not the original setup from Superchips

Plenty of people have had the bluefin upgrade direct from superchips with no probs

personally i am catious of remaps. there are many who have no problems with them at all but the odd few get into some real problems not a risk i am yet ready to take

Has anyone had the Bluefin treatment to their Cooper S?

Did it make any significant difference?

Its been a couple of weeks since I fitted it. Had a problem with fitting it, mainly due to my stupidity but a quick call to the Superchips help line sorted it out and everything went smoothly.
Performance is much better especially above 4k rpm. The other day my brother actually said "That is faster than mine". His being a Cooper . Various cars have fallen victim to me now everything from a Honda Jazz with an obnoxious teenage girl at the wheel speeding away from every light she could. The smile was soon wiped off her face and replaced with a "whats lohen.co.uk?" look. A park lane cooper also suffered a similar fate as did a modded Fiesta Zetec S of a friend of mine.

On a different note, fuel consumption is better, managed to get 30 extra miles from the latest tank.

I have. It makes a bigger difference than the 8bhp extra would suggest.
