Swapping engine - MINI Cooper Forum

Is it possible to swap the engine from mini cooper S to mini one/ I am having a mini one and would like to make the horspower equivalent to cooperS. So i thought if its possible , to buy a used cooperS engine and to fix in my mini one. Have any body done engine swap like this. I need some ideas from you to upgrade my mini. I like to have 220WHP

i would be way easyer and cheeper just to buy a cooper s

It is possible, but you would need lots of bits and pieces, move the battery to the boot, and replace the bonnet.

In maldives there is no mini coopers. only 2 is there, Mini one and a cooper. If i decide to buy a cooper S it will be much expensive coz the custom duty in MAldives is 100% for vehicles
