adding exhaust to mini with bluefin on??

Hi guys, i have just installed my bluefin and was just wondering if i installed a new exhaust or induction kit would i have to put my original ECU map back on and then re-load the bluefin or would it just automatically adjust the bluefin map installed on my car for the exhaust etc.

Also, i red one post that said on the bluefin it gives a few options so that you can choose what fuel you are using and if you have a performance exhaust on etc. I didnt get any of these options on mine, i just plugged it in and it just said" BMW MINI" AND then said a bit of stuff about ensuring the ignition was on and then it said "install bluefin"? so i just pressed yes and away it went. Is this right or was i supposed to be offered some options beforehand??

hi robfish 1985, not sure about the fuel grade, but when loading my bluefin thier was a display that said "extras" & you can type y or n .maybe this was for the upgrade??? i am thinking about up grading the air filter in the near future, so will look forward to see what has to be done. gomera

Im not aware of any additional options, a guy from superchips even fitted mine for me and didnt mention this??

Also I dont beleive the Bluefin takes into account other mods, ie exhaust, air filter obviously they will improve the performance of the car, but the Bluefin wont adjust to these, other remaps like the MTH remap can be programmed to take things like that into account

Still worth £299 though ent it for what it does
