Exhaust Query - Will it fit?

Hi folks,

I've been offered a JWR cat back exhaust for a good price off a 53 plate MCS. I know it won't be a straight swap, but what kind of work will I need to do to get it to fit on my 2003 Mini One? Is it worth the hassle?

Is JWR the one thats for sale on ebay that is actually made by blueflame?

If so you will need all the brackets for the other side of the car and ideally a new heat shield but thats not really needed as far as i know.

Whether its worth it or not depends on the price really other wise id just go for an exhaust made for a one

Thanks for that Crouchy - yes it's the one that was for sale on ebay. I was thinking of getting a system fabricated but I ended up getting the (blueflame?!) system for a pretty reasonable price.

Any ideas as to how many brackets are required?

no i dont sorry but ive got the same exhaust waiting to go on my one, but due to not having much money at the mo ive had to put it off for a while. Just go speak to someone who works in the service department at your local dealer, they will know.

I'm in exactly the same position at the moment to be honest - my One's at the dealers while they decide if it's my clutch or gearbox that needs attention so it looks like i'm going to have an expensive month.

Will you let me know if/when you get yours sorted?
