I got the impression from the video I saw of a playmini that it was louder than a milltek

I was always under the impression that the PlayMini is quite a bit louder than the Milltek.

For me (from what I've seen and heard) the PlayMini is a bit big and a bit loud. The Milltek is the perfect choice.

Miltek for me

Although the Larini is an interesting prospect, I think the Miltek has its own individual sound, although the noise the playmini makes is good I think there is a certain something about the Miltek which is individual as well as it being not to intrussive but when you put your foot down "all hell breaks loose" and it sounds tunefull/spot on on all the Mini models.

I think you need to hear them all for real to get a true impression of how they sound

I agree. In person, the Milltek sounds sporty, but not too over the top. I think with some other exhausts, there's a danger of it being - dare I say - a bit boy racer.

The milteck does have a silencer, i may be taking my silencer off shortly so i will make yet another video and post it on here! I think yoiu can buy the non silenced version from milteck or from lohen. I think it will sound really nice, at least if you get the milteck with the silencer, you can get the unsilenced pipe for it, then if you dont like it being that loud which im sure you wont mind then keep it off, but at least you can chop and change!

Alex
