Wing mirror covers

On my 2001 mini one the wing mirror covers are pants! they are just black plastic ones and arent even painted?! I'm after some chrome ones or maybe some black to go with the car but im curious if any one has used the ones on ebay for about £30 that stick over with 3m tape, or so the add tells me . Or should i stop being skint n tight n get some genuine ones?!

Also love the look of the Cooper S petrol cap and will get one eventually but at the minute I'm just curious how you get the old one off and fit the Cooper S one?! I saw the guide on here, but it doesnt give you any pictures or even a description on howm to fit it. I dont even know how the Cooper S cap open and gives you access etc . Any help or a nudge in the right direction of a good guide would be great.

If I were you I'd get some genuine mirror caps off ebay or the like as the stick on versions are naf! I got some glossy black ones a while back for 20 quid!

I have an unused chrome cap for the nearside only - and I live in Oxfordshire.

And I would let you have it for £15 - dealer price is about £35.

Is it just the metal fuel cap or the whole lot? I'm Thinking im being a bit optimistic thinking its the whole lot ?!?
