Hi minionesam, Nice mod looks sound! Just a couple of questions for ya! Was it easy to fit? And what's your mpg been like with it on? Also is your cold air feed completely broken? The kit costs enough you wouldn't expect it to break Ta

Hi Lee, here's your answers

1) Yes was easy to fit, only problem was as I was ripping old air BOX out (bottom half) it got caught on the intake from the front and the whole plastic bit got ripped out of an unknown hole from below so had to jack it up and pop it back in (easy), but may not happen to yu

2) To be honest I haven't noticed much on MPG front, first time I fitted it I swore I lost a tank very quickly, but I'm not sure I may have just driven s*** loads!!

3) I read soomewhere the hoses all go quickly cos they bend all over the place and aren't the best material, I'm currently looking for a performance one, so if anyone could help me find one that'd be cool. I'm hopefully doing a kinda custom job with a ram pipe soon so will post some pics when that's done.

Hey Specky,

a) It's the 'Pipercross Viper Induction Kit' - £250 new

b) Is sound noticeable? Yes if you leave the cold air feed off (less performance), No if you leave it on (slightly noticeable performance gain)

Hope that helps

To overcome the problem I'm going to custom install a Ram Pipe, haven't seen it done in a Mini, but with any luck will ensure a smooth air flow, but still not connected to the Viper itself so I will retain the noise and still have plenty of air
