Rev Counter has suddenly stopped working? I have just driven back from shropshire to kent today, and realised that my rev counter is permantly stuck on just over a 1000 revs. Also the little lights that normally come on when turning they key do not show. They only thing that works is the light to illuminate the dial at night. Thats it. ![]() Has anyone had this prob is it a fuse? Or something more serious? Suggestions please...

Have you checked the fuse? I'm guessing not by your comment! Check that first then it may be easier to diagnose! Basic check can reveal all sorts! Dealers would charge a bomb for it too! ![]() The Original MINI One Seven Yorkshire MINI Register - PM for details

Well Iv had a look at the fuse box, and to be honest im not sure which fuse is which. It has a diagram on the lid, but no obvious one points to the rev counter, and I cant really work out if one has blown or not. Looks like I might have to go to dealers, I can't believe its just a blown fuse.
