| Can the Trip Computer be added to a Mini One? My 2001 Mini One has the Rev Counter above the main console, but only has the temperature gauge in the rev counter's LCD display. The Cooper we used to own and the Cooper S we also currently own have the Trip Computer option which puts speed, mpg etc. in the LCD, which I would find handy as a new driver (only passed my test last month!) as I'm finding myself constantly glancing down and left to check my speed on the centre speedo. Having the option of having my speed in the general area of my normal line of site would be useful, so I'm wondering if it's possible to retrofit the trip computer option to a Mini One? and if so is it practical (ie not involving a complete electronics replacement by a Mini dealer)?  |
