Mini One 2002

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help me please. I've just bought an auto Mini One, 2002 and have no idea what is standard or an optional extra on my car. I've been looking through the manual and am getting confused at times cos I'm not sure what I've got. I know the windows are tinted, I have electric windows, but not sure if I have heated windows, seats etc. can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks.

If you have the heated front screen and seats then you will have the appropriate buttons to operate them on the console
They werent a standard feature on the ONE only optional when ordered new and so were the tinted windows, by that I assume you mean the darkened rear side and back window?
Check the handbook to see where the switches etc should be, if they are there then you should have the relevant feature.
The basic MINI ONE doesnt come with all that much as standard.

From a Mini One/Cooper brochure from 2001/2002 which details what you got in the Salt pack, what you got in the Pepper pack, and what you got in the Chili pack. Here is a list of what each pack had....you could also add other options at extra cost but the packs were a cheaper way of getting several options in one go.

SALT PACK.
The SALT pack was only available for the MINI ONE.

Rev Counter
Interior Light Package - 2 reading lights for driver and passenger as well as illuminated driver and passenger footwells.
Two tone brilliant silver finish (interior door trim in elipse design, door pockets, dashboard).
Height adjustable passenger seat
Velour Floor mats
Storage nets on the back of the front seats
Front fog lights


PEPPER PACK.
The Pepper pack includes all SALT pack features as a base. The Pepper pack was not available on Mini ONE's, and includes the following extra features :-

Chrome trimmed exterior
5.5J x 15 inch 8-spoke light alloy wheels with 175/65 R15 tyres


The CHILI PACK
The CHILI pack contains all of the features of the PEPPER pack, plus the following features :-

5-star light alloy wheels (6.5J x 16" with 195/55R16 run-flat tyres)
Roof spoiler painted in body colour
2-spoke leather steering wheel and leather-covered gearknob.
Sports suspension plus
KALEIDO cloth/leather upholstery on height adjustable sports seats (driver and passenger)
