Apple Cooper LED's

Hello All!

Okay so here's what the plan is.

I've purchased a (huge) strip of orange LED's that I want to place in a few places (the footwells, and below the radio where the cigarette lighter is.

Now it's considering how I'm going to wire it - my plan was that the lights would come on either

a) when I unlock my car / open the door - light the interior roof light does.

b) when I have my side lights / any other lights on

My car only has the two interior lights (centre of the roof and in the boot) - none in the footwell.

Anyone know how exactly I could do this?

If you want both your going to need to use relays to determine the logic between the two, or of course build a little circuit board (probably the easier option) unless i'm missing something here

If you just wanted one or the other, that would be far easier

Personally if it were me I'd buy the correct fitting led bulbs to replace the existing. If its coloured you want then get on eBay. There's a chap selling the white led kits on total mini. I bought one and turned the interior, sidelights and puddle lights for 25.00 quid.

I've got red LEDs in footwell and I've wired mine so they come on with the ignition
