United-Kingdom Powe steering pump fan

Hi
I have got a little further with my Mini one , managed to remove the power steering pump but noticed I don't have a PS FAN , I read this is common on the earlier mini Ones mine is a 2002 . How do I know if my car should have a fan, could I retro fit one ?, I don't see a connector for the Fan either. Secondly the wiring for the pump is fried and totally destroyed the connector on the Pump , will a referb company still exchange this or am I going to have to buy a new pump ?

any help much appreciated

UK MINI One and Cooper do not have a ps pump fan only Cooper S.

Ask BBA-Reman below if they will accept pump.

Might be easier to obtain secondhand from specialist Mini breaker?

In view of the problems with these cars and their p/s pumps, is it worth fitting a fan? Can this be done easily?
My daughter's p/s has just failed and I'm planning to fit a BBA Reman. pump, who advertise a lifetime warranty.

The fan was fitted to the Cooper S because of higher underbonnet temperatures due to the supercharger and on some export Mini's to hot climates.

I have a 2002 Mini with a BBA-Reman pump.....no fan and still good 3 years on.
