At last I have had enough time to take some pics from the Mini, some of them are not very good... I'll try to take them again. I'll upload some scan pics I have from several months ago when I bought it (no mods).

Waiting for your comments...

Jose Luis.

Nice car, good skills! (Are you sure it's not a Cooper?)

First post for me so I'll include a hiya to all. Great website, although haven't posted before had some good info and tips from here already.

Oh Boy, Thought Id be Clever if I used Alta Vista Translation on the above Post, But I`ve just put my Attempted Spanish back into the Translator & got the following:

PLEASANT RAYS And LIGHTS. NOT SURELY ON THE KNOB OF THE GEAR NEVERTHELESS, HE IS ORIGINAL?

--Not quite what I Intended.

I understand what you say, sometimes I see the same when I translate something from other languages to spanish and you see the nonsenses they tell you.

Anyway I understood, don't worry, the knob (and boot), is from Moss (USA), we don't have places where to get parts for our Minis, only BMW for original parts and no more, you have to go outside Spain to buy what you need, well what you wish, more tricky than getting the parts is convince my wife that I'm not wasting money... you know, well those of you that are married or have partners or whatever will understand...

Smiffy the exhaust is a Remus (same model for Cooper and One) after seriously watching a lot, and feeling not very happy with the original Mini chrome tailpipe, I have to say that it was not very well installed at BMW, I decided to go for this one, it sounds very well, without making everybody move the head towards you as you pass by, it's a pleasant rumble that is not hear as much as the standard one, cool!!!, you can hear the sound here:
http://www.bridger.us/mini/exhaust/
but I have to say that the sound is better hearing it from the car.
