Question Headlight Level control

Hi,

I'm loving the car (piccys soon i promise). I've just got a question about the lighting level. (I've got the standard halogens). What level do you have yours set to (single driver)? The book recommends 0 but to me that looks too high and the road doesn't seem to be illuminated directly infront. As a new driver and this being my first motor i've got no idea what it should be like in any car.

Ta.

B.

As high as you can, IMO, is the best place.

Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40

0 is the high position isn't it? You lower them if you have passengers in the rear, or pulling/carrying something weighty. That's the theory anyway.

As I understand it the "high" setting is for lightly loaded and the "low" if the back is loaded down with other people so that we do not illuminate the sky!
