Please help - desperate for my mini.

Anybody know how long the witing lists currently are for a mini one?
I am desperate to get my hands on the lovely little thing but I have to wait until I have sold my car to even order one, and then I will be without a car until my mini arrives.

Please tell me there isn't one!!


Also anyone know if they give good deals on part ex's - I have a ford KA collection, Y reg, 50K in mint condition?
I know it's a long shot but worth a try.

Fraid there still is. The waiting list seems to vary but a friend of mine ordered her new MINI One in Dec and is getting a March delivery. Still its better than me , i waited 5 months to get mine! .

I waited 4 1/2 half months for mine. A Mini 1D. Was worth it in the end and they hold their value better than most cars.

Ring up various dealers when I was looking for the best deal for my S I had varied dates by different dealerships some April some June / July.

I got mine in about a month.. My dealer had a couple of orders left to place in one batch, so I was able to get mine pretty quick.

Talk to the dealers and find out how long, they might have some free slots.

Be ready though because as soon as you've ordered it you won't be able to sleep until you drive it, it's more than worth the wait

Been quoted March and April by 2 different dealers today for 0ne D.

As others have said it pays to check out different dealers,some quote dates considerably sooner than others.My first Jan 03 MINI ONE took just 5 weeks to arrive but i waited 10 weeks for my Sept 04 MINI ONE,the wait will be forgotten as soon as you are behind the wheel.

I believe about 10 weeks plus time at the dealers for any extra goodies that u have ordered

Well, just chose my car out of the show room and had my extras fitted after - just have to wait for the 05 plate now - was really really lucky that they had the spec I wanted in.

If its the MINI you want ,who cares if its out of the showroom or straight from the factory,well done.You will be suprised at how long a week and a half can seem.Anyway good luck,happy motoring,ENJOY.
