MOT Passed

IT Passed !!!

just wanted to share my RELIEF

J1JPE is 3 years old on May 15th and has just got another 12months life

for anyone about to take theirs; the only advisories were:

- wear to the windscreen wipers
- rear tyre tread depth
and the N/S headlight needed adjusting

Jeez, I'm not sure I could cope with being an expectant father if the stress of pacing up and down while some 'stranger' yanked at my baby's bonnet, prodded and poked around it's wheels :{} is anything to go by

IT'LL TAKE A WHILE TO FORGET THE LOOK ON YOUR FACE AS I CAME 'ROUND THAT CORNER ON TH' 'EARTBEAT :}}

you were lucky it wasn't the North Wales Run a few months back when the rear claiper seized - squeaks for 100 miles and a St George Flag on the arial made it an interesting day

Why would you worry about not passing MOT in the first place, if you had it serviced at regular intervals and paid attention to the thread on the tyres?

Congrats all the same

Apple passed her MOT back in Feb 05, and the guy who did the test did not expect her to fail, and said that new cars have very good reliability etc...

Got her MOT certificate with no issue then a couple of days later, BANG, and a big stone chip appeared on the windscreen which will result in MOT failure next Feb

Awwww well

Don't Trust Garages

This is the first car I've owned for 10 years having had company cars most of that time; the last one I had was an old Escort .... you hear so many stories of cars failing there first MoT on emissions, steering, brakes etc and I cant afford to replace it at the moment; the garage I used was running a promotion as theyve just got the MoT license and I was told they were being strict as they're being auditted at the end of the 3month probation and offers always make me suspicious they'll find something to repair in order to recoup the discount they give you initially etc

Having had it's share of warranty issues, I was just apprehensive that my prayers to Budha while in Thailand wouldnt be answered - as it is, it did officially fail but because I paid them to adjust the headlight straight away they then issued the Pass certificate

Will be trying to avoid stone chips - sure you'll get youor screen replaced before the test
