Thumbs up MCS exaust for my ONE

Hello,
I assembled an exhaust from MCS ,bought of occasion at a super price. I thus decided after having seen that dimensions and the supports were the same ones to assemble the whole. 2 working hours, the result is marvellous.
Fixings are those of the S, I have just to remove the spare wheel. The noise is very sympathetic !!! I also specify that I did not make this modification with an aim of gaining performances, but only for the look!
I have changed 3 parts into plastic of the shield AR to perfect the whole. If you want infos, you can see on my Internet site and to leave me an e-mail, I answer you with photograph...

Nice one looks great, a perfect fit! When you say the noise is sympathetic, do you mean it is quiet?

détail from parts

thank you for all the private messages
I answer on the forum because it is simpler, and that will still use for others...
The part of fixings are 182 014 937 97 + 182 014 937 98 (left and right, in black at the picture from the first post), with dimensions driver there are two holes on standby, those holes on standby (with a layer of cement) under the carpet of the trunk, you will be able to put two screws at this place and to screw fixing.

On the other photographs one can see that I made small do-it-yourself with parts BMW. indeed the hull of the ONE/COOPER is not exactly the same one, therefore it was necessary to adapt a fixing, so that the marmitte is not in the vacuum leaves number: 182 075 214 27 + 182 011 760 13

For the back plastic from MCS: parts 511 268 002 34 + 511 214 790 94 + 511 214 790 93. You must thus change the two half-with dimensions one because the height of spolier back is not the same one.

A friend with me with fact the modification on a cooper and it does not have there a concern private individual on the by-shocks AR... It is necessary to be meticulous person and to adjust the parts, it well is all, do not listen to people who did not do this work...

Escuse me of the translation, I made use of google, the barrier of the technical language is at all obvious, just like to explain in detail...

Dek,
Regarding performance, did it cause any problems? how badlywas the performance after placing the MCS exhaust on since ONE's and MCS's exhaust are of different sizes. Did you do any engine mod to your ONE?

same questions to you, JPSmini

Thanks for the help since i'm trying to fix a MCS exhaust on my ONE as well.

no problem there is the place below and the spare wheel remains with the garage, it is all... If not of adjustments engine. I have a friend who with assembled a "supersprint" and it is the same model for all the range ONE/COOPER other COOPERS, then why not the silencer of the MCS ??
The sound approaches the MCS (as we have a MCS, this is easy to compare !!!) and in the chapter performances the MINIS go better, it seems liberty !!! (traduction... ) it is also very sensitive when air-conditioning is on the way !!!

Mdr... comme on se retrouve.

J'étais avec Dju pour monter la ligne JCW, ben je dois te dire que c'était pas une chose facile. Au contraire... Surtout que nous, on avait pas de fosse. Joli boulot en tous cas.

the car is not "choked" with this modification compared to front (traduction is not evident ) this is very sensible !!

With air-conditioning there is always a small pert of power on the ONE, since it is better (when the rp/m is not hight 2/3000 rp/m)

the modification is very positive

it is clear ???

thanks for the reply dek
so the exhaust comes out of both two exhaust pipes or just one? i'm planning to close one pipe so that it'll be the same as the standards exhaust.

Hi DeK,

Great job you did there. What is the part number for this?

I want to use that to fit 02 exhaust on my 04 MCS.

Cheers!

it is a part which I modified with two part of Bmw-minis. One needed that I fix the marmittes of both with dimensions, below the MINI ONE (Cooper also) it is not similar only the S (battery box...)

I do not include/understand too much, you want to assemble othe MCS exaust 2002 on a MCS 2004, if it is an S, that will be similar below, not?
