picked up my mini ONE about a week ago, got it chipped, the guy gave me figures of 135-140, its a lot quicker and smoother know, eat my mates cooper for breakfast last night, but im going to take it on the dynos soon,
tuners might say they are, but hey how will you know till you have an accident and your insurance company refuse to pay and BMW was their hands of it due to the chip, anyone that says they are I would not buy a chip or retune off, as they should not be trusted
congratulations, hope you have told your insurance company, as I know I would hate to be hit my a driver that hasn't declared something like this as he would be an un-insured driver
well that burst my bubble . I have just told them.
it cost 175 and the guy came to me for a small extra fee for petrol etc, depends were you live i suppose the website link is http://www.mini2tuning.co.uk/ its definatly worth it though
on the actual bmw diagnostics ti is undetectable, but insurance companies may be a bit more warey. As for wwwmini2tuning.com i cant see a remap promising 135-140bhp figures seeign as thats the only mod. all other chips and retunes say 30bhp increse or 35 but a 45-50 seems a bit too steep. iv highly modified my one wit a mth remap and on rollers i got 141bhp.
they just perform the same OBD ecu remap that MTH do etc. but if you do the MTH yourself you will save money and you will be able to get any problems resolved with a new map.
