OMP Strut Brace on Cooper S

I recently purchased a OMP strut brace on eBay but can't seem to get it to fit correctly to the Cooper S.

I also have the GTT Cold Air Intake which seems to be hampering the fitting of said OMP strut brace.

Any help / tips from other Mini users with similar problem?

If not I will have an OMP strut brace for sale!!

you will need to trim the heat shield of the intake, I had to do the same to my alta when I fitted the JCW strut brace,

Hey Al- I'm in the same boat- I want to fit a strut brace but have a GTT CAI .... the thing is the GTT CAI can be bought with an already modified heat shield to allow the strut brace pass so you can either modify your own or perhaps ring Roland and ask how much for modified one - or can he modify yours/ do part exchange????
