 2nd gen suspension bolt into 1st gen I have an r50 cooper 2004. My mate has just upgraded his suspension on his r56 and now has a set of dampers and springs that he doesnt need. | Unfortunatley they wont, the back ones would if you fitted rear R56 trailing arms as well First M45 Cooper S to run a 12 (12.96@105) On Nitrous 11.16@123 0-100 7.1991  http://www.1320MINI.co.uk |

| Hmmm... would R53 dampers fit R56 rear arms then? How does this differ from the set up on the GP? (apologies for slight hi-jack but I might be interested in the rear dampers) |
