Question Price & advice on Front Suspension Bushes for R53 COOPER S

I am after some guidnace & price guidlines for replacing my front suspension bushes

I have been told today that both my front bushes are borderline & my left passenger in particular

Should this have gone this bad in 7months since my Service & 4months since my MOT. Also is this check part of the service it was an inspection 2

I have been told this is a common problem with the mini

Could running on a runflat caused this much damge

Any advice, comments & price guidlines wold be appreciated

Prob just part price as prob get fitted myself

Thanks in advance

Hi Mini33 superflex bushes are £85 much better than OEM parts and should last longer as they are poly, as for fitting you are looking at around 2hrs or more if difficulties occur.

I paid £232 fitted for superflex front suspension bushes. Massive difference to the split OEM ones.

I went to a realiable garage of a friend & they have have told me that its not the bushes but my tracking

So i am confused but was not convinced that it was the bushes anyway - i thought all along that it wasd either that tyre or my tracking

I am know 99% sure its the tracking & going to get that sorted tommorow

So hopefully i wont need them!!

Thanks for all the advice

Car gets skittish going over cats eyes or thick white lines. Mileage probably over 45k.

Car generally feels a bit wobbly compared to how rigid it was when you drove it new!

I had the Lohen guy fit Powerflex front bushes to my OneD, my bushes were far from knackered as the differance is not as massive as I expected. But... Under braking the front wheels are so much more stable and the precision of the steering is much improved so very well worth it i think.
