I have had my mcs works for a little while now and fancy making a few changes to it. I am going to stick dome 18" bbs lm's on it and a set of coilovers but with so many to chose from which ones are recommended. I am not looking to spend thousands but about £500...? What do you guys think...? With so many to chose it is a tough one as I know some makes are better or worse on different cars.
Whats peoples thoughts on 'SuperSport' (race coilovers?) they are sub £500 im also interested to know this may help as i heard they are good from the VW/Audi guys its a german company
KW V1s are circa £1k fully fitted - are you needing fitting or doing yourself ? The fitting cost is approx £200 ish as they will need to be properly set up...
JCW suspension is pretty pants really... They're nothing special at all. If people are going to insist on lowering springs then eibachs offer a better all round package.
However, if a job is worth doing, then its worth doing right. Coilovers are a better option - better ride, better handling and they're adjustable. They also don't work out much more expensive than springs and dampers. KW V1 are what you want, not springs. Most people I know of with springs move on to coilovers, so skip the middle stage and save yourself some money!

I have spax, cant say a bad word about them apart from maybe the paint is bit crap. BC coilovers seem to be about the best on a budget from what ive heard, or weitec.
Not true at all. The JCW suspension kit is actually a good option. The only down side to it is that it doesnt lower further...
I have had both standard suspension with eibach (well Ac Schnitzer) springs and now JCW suspension and I can say without a shaddow of a doubt the JCW suspension kit is far better - miles better.... The only thing I miss is the look of lowering springs - nothing else....
If only the JCW suspension kit was a little lower...
As an option you can get AP coilovers for just under £500...
