rubbing noise when turning!

Hi guys,

First off, great forum! I bought a mini because of all the info here!
I have a 2004 MCS, love the car to bits!

I have an annoying issue when i turn left or right while in motion.
Any ideas on what it might be?

Does your car have the mini LSD? They make rubbing noises - at low speed at least - when turning.

Otherwise, rubbing noises are likely to be due to aftermarket wheels and/or lowered suspension resulting in the tyres rubbing on the bodywork.

No, don't think my car has an LSD? How can i confirm that?

No aftermarket wheels or springs either!
Sounds like its coming from the rear... Could it be a wheel bearing on its way out?

It's rubbing in the rear? Only when your turning left or right. Is there a lean to one side or the other? Is the rear sagging? Make sure something isn't stuck in the wheel-well. Check to make sure your inner fenders are secure.
