Smile Engine Mount Bracket Fatigue Failure

My engine mount failed with a large fatigue crack in the bracket on my 2005 Cooper. Probably a function of the Sports Plus suspension. I thought my CV joint was failing due to the clunk on taking up the torque - how wrong I was.

The fix was around £150 (don't know the exact amount as it was mixed in with a MOT and a new exhaust) and I highly recommend Masterdriver in Aston Clinton near Aylesbury for their prompt repair work - an independent Mini specialist.
