Help! Banging from passenger side front wheel

Just got my 51 cooper back from the menders and there is now banging whenever I go over a small hump etc.

Had the shocks and brake pads replaced on the front yesterday and as soon as I got it back it has started.

Any help or advice would be appreciated as I'm now very nervous to keep driving it!

Thanks

Harry.

Easy, Take it straight back, let them know the jobs not up to scratch, dont mess with it yourself. And if you feel too nervous to drive get them to collect it.

Just rung them and they're looking at it first thing in the morning!

Does it also happen when you're turning with full-lock on? I've had a similar problem in the past, albeit not on a MINI but after the same sort of work, and it was a loose bolt somewhere! Tightened it up, problem solved.

Let us know how you get on!

Nope. Does it whenever theres a change in level in the road (which is all the time if you live in the sticks!)

Hello, can you elaborate a bit more on this suggestion?

You mean that it may be that the anti roll bar is not bolted in or loose?

I have the exact same issue, but it also sounds whenever there are lateral forces (ie. if I do sudden and short S turns left and right and the car tries to roll sideways) hard to do on an S model with Sports suspension I know!

Also when I take a speed bump diagonally so the car rolls a bit...

Thanks!
