Are you kidding me? $250 for a rear sway bar..i know theres R&D costs, advertising, some markup anyway, etc. but they're selling the same bar in England for only 85 pounds!!! ($136.64 US)

A lot of people are using the MINI-Madness bar and love it...also a few people using the Helix bar and said it works great. Haven't heard from anyone using the MINI Mania bar yet though...MINI Mania is well known for having outrageous prices. Pretty much everything they sell can be found from other places for 2/3s the price. I know a lot of classic Mini fans that order their stuff direct from MINI Spares in the UK and have it shipped to the USA as it is cheaper then going through MINI Mania direct...though it does take a bit longer to get.

Side Note: MINI Mania is not the same as MINI Spares. MINI Mania buys alot of their stock from MINI Spares and resells it marked up in the US. MINI Mania though does seem to be doing a bit more with the new mini though so that is good to see. There is a partnership between the two companies - but they aren't one in the same.

Damn, I didn't know that!!

Shame they don't know how to build a website of their own so they don't confuse us all!

I'm not sure of all the details between the two companies - but part of the deal is that MINI Mania provides a website for MINI Spares.

Websites

Websites are now becoming quite different, although unfortunately they did start out very similar. We are going to be offering a few things that Mini Mania aren't. Phat_mini has a Mini Mania roll bar on his car supplied by us, his comments on it have been posted recently in the Wheel and tyre forum. If you would like a quote on shipping, please let me know.

has any one driven in the snow with either of these sway bars just on the back? If so how does it take driving? Im very impressed with how well it does in general. I dont want to loose that. If couse its such an easy install, I could just take it off in the winter.
