Blue Cooper what springs will fit?

having trouble finding lowering springs to fit my MC! got a set of apex from minisport rears fitted fine fronts not even close! need help my MC was built at the end of april 2002 and i really want to lower it about 30mm i have the 17in s spokes with pirellis. what company can i trust? your help and knowledge would be appreciated thanks HELP!!!!!!!!!

Have you heard about or tried H&R's? They lower about an inch in the front and 1.2 inches in the back, I have them and they're getting installed Thursday. Can't wait!

I don't see why they won't fit your MC. They cost me $325 Canadian, thats before installation. I bought them 2 weeks used however.

thanks for the information i have found a set of springs that mini spares sell 30mm drop! thats low enough for me will get them next week. will send pics cheers mate

Jordan,
You might have the old style front struts. My MCS was a March build and it had the old struts. The springs are different and don't interchange. If you go to the dealer and tell them your Mini pulls to the left they will upgrade you to the current design. It will also handle much better.

The change happened as of the last day of March, 2002. The easiest may to tell if you have the new or old style is by looking @ the strut top on the engine compartment. The early style stick up out of the strut hole and have a small cap on the top of a point. The new style are flush with the strut tower top and they have a round flat cap.
