Rear Anti Roll Bar Bush??

Hi have a slight knock coming from the rear near side and someone said that its probably a worn ARB bush and that they are onlt about 5 and easy to change.

Well after taking my wheel off I cant see the ARB but I can see 2 arms that go the the hub.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Its a 2003 Mini One D 1.4

Good luck in trying to get them off if the bolts are rusted on buddy. To get them off properly you will need to disconnect the rear shockers to allow you access to the bolts as they sit directly behind the shocker (2 x 13mm bolts) I was to do rear arb bushes on my mates car but to do it properly I'm gonna have to drop the rear subframe and burn the bolts out!

If you can't see the ARB after taking the wheel off then you REALLY shouldn't be doing this.

No offence.

But you shouldn't be doing work on cars.

Nope I've done rear arb bushes on my first mini and I was going to do them on this one until I realised she doesn't have an arb ; 0

I hope no one's stolen it

Optional extra maybe?

Your job for me tomorrow is to take a foty from behind your rear bumper looking to one of your rear wheels so I can see your subframe and send it to me. Point the camera in the direction of the shock absorber

I am quite confident working on cars as I am a aircraft engineer I have replace a complete rear axle before so I think I know what I am doing!

I will have another look today but I am sure it is not there and no drop links either!

Fair enough if you've bought a car and the previous own has removed them.

Here...
