H-Sport TVS (stage 1 suspension)

Does anyone have/seen the total vehicle system from h-sport?
They have a competition and a sport version, but I was wondering how well tuned this whole system is. The cost isn't that bad, but then again, your going to want something like this installed by a pro (someone I am not)

I have the "abbreviated" H-Sport setup, Competition sway-bar set, springs, and 1 pair of rear control arms. My thoughts are, front camber is good as-is, and the front strut brace is useless on the MINI. The combination of the bars and springs is simply awesome, and the 2-hole front and 3-hole rear allow you to tune the car to any driving situation, from gumball 3000 to auto-x. The suspension setup is simply more stable than stock, the car has better feedback near and at the limit of adhesion, and corners virtually ruler-flat. Apart from doing a custom coil-over setup, this H-Sport setup is about the best it gets, IMO. Hugely Recommended

Cheers,
Ryan

wow thats interesting to know. I really wouldn't be able to use the tower bar anyhow because of my alta CAI.
so maybe just getting the springs, some new shocks and the rear bar will do. And it will be tons cheaper. thanks for the advice

H-Sport

hello,
i'm not trying to break any of your forum rules, but we are an authorized H-Sport (Hotchkis) distributor up here in Cleveland. we have sold several of the complete kits on the minis. According to even the guys at H-Sport, they really do not reccommend going with the Competition Kit, unless you are really looking for a "racing" type set up. to be honest, it is almost an "overkill" for street use. if you have any other questions, email or PM me.

right now in the "heat" of winter, the last thing I want is a stiffer car. I more I thought about it, I will hold off on all that fun stuff when my warranty is void, then I can do what I want. The only 3 things im going to do until that time is stereo, side skirts, and wheels.

all the hardcore racing stuff will have to wait!
thanks for the info, that h-sport stuff is hardcore.

Ryan: Thanks for the feedback! Actually the HSport factory (it turns out that they are all of about 10 miles from me) is going to install the springs, Competition sway bars and rear camber links on my car next week. What settings did you start with ... and what settings are you using now? Also any comments on the overall ride? Harshness? Stiffness? Tire rubbing? Bottoming-out? Thanks.
