*bump* Also how does it effect reliability and interact with pulley reductions like 15% etc?

There is much more discussion on NAM about them than there is here.

I will be fitting one to my car as soon as pilo releases the version with the built in vibration dampner,
I already have a 15% pulley and am going to fit the crank to bring me up to 17%.
by itself you wont notice any gain from the 2% crank pulley but couple it up with a SC pulley and now your cooking.
I am also in Ireland you can pm me if you need any further info.

as far as reliability is concerned many cars have these mods fitted for a long time without any issues but that is no guarantee, that is the chance you take when modifying a car.

I think i prefer the OEM crank pulley. I just feel that the driving is not as nice as before. Yes, there is better power but I just dont like the engine vibration. Pilo's with the vibration damper should be Ok

I had a 2% pulley fitted. Engine runs rougher at idle and other low RPM modes. There is distinct noise like a slight rattle of components then.

Hi Guys, check out the GTT +3% crank pulley on our site . Ours differs in that it will not come loose in use . This is because we use a stainless steel sleeve as an interference fit on the shaft. The pulley then bolts to this using 6 small bolts. This way it doesnt risk coming loose in the way a one piece alloy type can due to the different expansion rates of the alloy over the steel crankshaft. Our item is also HARD anodised rather than colour or clear anodise which is soft. For those who race we can supply a second stock diameter pulley (without a second steel sleeve) ;this allows quick pulley change without the need for any pullers or gas torch. This way you have (say) -15% or -18% in a jiffy. These pulleys are suitable for road or race.

Thumbs up crank pulley

I'll back up what Roland say's, he fitted this along with a whole host of other parts to my JCW car back in the early summer and its a worthwhile conversion. The car is used in competition and revved very hard and has been 100% reliable, it eliminates the problems associated with small supercharger pulleys throwing belts.
