Hey Scooby, Milltek is a good manifold but on the last two we had the ports on the gasket were a bit small. This is fine if you are not planning to do anything on the head, but if you wanted to port and polish then you should get a different make. Also consider Janspeed manifold as it is also pretty good and the ports are bigger (see above). PS. Do you want your locking wheel nut? as it is still stitting on my desk... Cheers, Andrey

Although the Janspeed is better than the Miltek (IMHO). The GT Tuning item improves on both in a number of ways. Larger diameter & straighter primaries, larger secondary,TIG welding instead of MIG throughout, less restrictive cat, seperate removable cat with optional decat pipe available, header plate profiled exactly to gasket size & shape,&lighter weight. Our demo car achieved 273bhp using this with stock exhaust (with GTT re route pipe). We stock the Janspeed too . Check out the website www.gttuning.com for detailed info. We have in stock next day delivery no problem. Best Regards Roland GTT

Hi Perm, about the same. It is aftermarket systems rather than manifolds that make the MCS too loud. Also its the manifold that adds around 8-12bhp whereas a system adds (next to ) nothing. Regards Roland

I'm liking my Milltek Scoob Nice grunty sound without being too intrusive... You also have Playmini if you want LOUD...Also speak to Simon @ Essential Mini about the MTH manifold, thats supposed to be the Muts, but not neccesarily the loudest.. depends what you're after ------> I have a Gen1 Works S and I'm proud of it <------

I guess it depends on what you want. I have the Milltek Sports Cat and Manifold and yeah, it does make the throttle response feel a little sharper. It also has a slightly more hollow / deep note than the stock item. It didn't make my car feel a lot quicker to be fair, but the sound is nice Lotus Exige S 240

Good gravy - not making the choice of manifold for poor scooby any easier (btw your car looks fantastic). Realise this is for a MCS (I've got a ONE) but thought I'd just ask what people think I should get if I'm after performance as oppose to noise. Not really planning to polish or port the head as I *should* be ordering an S in a few months anyway but want a new toy for my baby :P

Hey I had the milltek with sports cat manifold on my S, reasonable increase in throttle response and top end power but nothing fantastic (not £500 worth anyways) then changed to the De-cat version that they do, its soooooo much better, really nice pops... bangs.... flames... etc etc and a really noticable increase in top end power and throttle response, sounds absolutely awesome aswel. (obviously its not really legal but )I would say that its about as beneficial to go from Milltek Sports cat manifold to a De-cat manifold as it is to go from a standard manifold to a Milltek with sports cat.... if that makes any sense.... Cheers JonnyC
