Red face Pulley and Removal

Searched all the treads and just like the one a couple down from this thread they have tended to drift away from the question.

I have a 2004 mcs running K@n intake and milltek cat back ehaust and mth.

I know wish to add a 15% reduction pulley. My questions are

1. Fitting, will i be able to fit it myself, i have previously done work but am not a mechanic.

2. Which is the best make 15% reduction pulley to go for.

3. With this set up what rough kind of REAL result can i expect 200bhp?

4. Who makes the best pulley removal tool.

Thanks

If all goes well soon to have a GTT 210bhp !!!!!

from what i understand, its a pretty big job. Randy Webb says that the best pulley is the alta, and they also make a remover tool. I think 200bhp is quite realistic, maybe even a little more.

If you go to www.webbmotorsports.com he discusses the 15 % pulley in the FAQ. In his forum there are two pulley removal step by step procedures. I have watched him do it at one of his "pulley parties", for me it would be quite a challenge the first time even though I have done quite a bit of work on cars. I can see though that once you've done it, it really isn't that difficult. Several popular MINI suppliers will rent a pulley removal tool.
