Just got my 2004 MCS back from the tuner. I got Dyno-Jet without the Kelleners exhaust at @198/199 whp. Whoo Hoo. But unfortunately the dyno needs calibration just when I got the Kelleners exhaust put on....big bummer! I will post dyno...but expected whp is @ 215. The engine build is cheaper then JCW and now the car rocks!!!!
So to unbelievers and nay-sayers....and guys that think only USA tuners can make a rocking Mini...oh well. Kelleners is awsome.
2004 MCS CR/B
Sports pkg, Aero Kit, Madness CAI, head port and polished, Schrick race cam, Kelleners: ECU, 15% pulley, exhaust, Supersprint header, Sachs racing clutch, PSS9s, 18" Neez Euro Cross, Hankook Ventus Sports. Planned: Brembo big brakes
I agree. I will be going to track days in April. 2 days of racing. 1st day get racing license......2nd day with all day track with blue gas (102+ octane)....I can't wait.
But for now...the Lil Red Rocket will put ya in the back seat ( there are no..."no SH*$" handles for passengers to grab on to.... ) But it is fun to drive...the intake whines...the exhaust rumbles...and that is what it is all about. Having fun with what you have for what you wanna spend for your mods for your Mini. Happy Mini New Years All!

the gear box has taken 470whp on our dragster and has survived so I am not worried about that and it was done on stock rods. Nitrous was used to get that HP so the shock power to the engine was much worse than this set-up. We have 1 tough little engine the pistons have been the only weak link. I think I will put a head stud kit on it also.
