Smile Exhaust and Induction Kit

I have fitted a Ramair Supraram Induction Kit and a Powerflow exhaust.
The sound from both of these individually is fantastic and together even better.
My car is a Mini One.

Standard
0-62 is 10.9

Mine unofficially is:
0-62 is 9.7

This was carried out with fall tank and passenger in car. Plus with a fair bit of wheel spin due to weather.

Future upgrade's will include:

Lowering sports suspension.
Larger sport wheels
upgrade brakes (recommendations welcome)
Upper lower strut braces
Engine management (MTH possibly)
Aero kit

If anyone has any thoughts about any of these add'ons please contact me. Always happy to hear your opinions.

Glad you're happy with your mods - it's a slippery slope!

They won't have shaved 1.2 secs off your time though - the 10.9 quoted is reached in a far more "technical" way, and an induction kit and catback exhaust won't give you that amount of power gain.

Definitely go for the MTH tuner remap, especially on a One. It's the most worthwhile performance mod you can do, and for hardly any money. I got it done on my Cooper last week and it's great - on your One it'll make even more of a difference, plus it can be tweaked to make the best of your other mods so the whole engine works better together as a whole.

Also instead of the strut braces I'd go for a rear anti-roll bar, this will make much more of a difference.

Eibach and H&R Sport lowering springs are good choices for the springs, and inexpensive.

Just be sure to notify your insurance company of all your mods; some don't even allow them!

I could only use a stop watch as i don't have profesional track timers.
But after 3 runs 9.8 was still the average time recieved.

Its good enough for me

Well before it was very bad. was hard just to get some good wheel spin. so id say the 10.9 was right then. but other improvements i have got is a lot more torque at higher revs.

Sorry about the double post above!

Stop watch is VERY innacurate, if you're going to get serious about testing you could by something like a gtech pro or ap22, you just stick 'em on your dashboard (plug them in) and away you go, very accurate too.
