GTT/JCW Performance Upgrade Packages -Now available

Hi Guys, we have now added a section on website outlining specific GTT upgrade packages for cars already fitted with JCW210 conversions. We do get asked a lot for this, and have completed many upgrade packages of this nature. Click on our 'Fitted Performance Packages section, then scroll down a bit to reveal the new section.
Each package level, retains all the JCW components, but adds power ,torque AND includes components designed to improve reliability.Hope you like it.
Best Regards Roland GT Tuning

good work m8

two questions, first for roland regarding the cooper s ecu upgrade only. u state that it is undetectable by bmw - but there are so many posts on m2 saying that ecu upgardes ARE detectable.

help? has anyone had an ecu upgrade and gone thru a few tlc services without any probs?

second question - has anyone had just the gtt ecu upgrade to their cooper s and could comment on how it is?

cheers all
aslan

As many people know we ,and many other tuners ( but under their own brand name )
use mth software. As I understand it ,it is not detectable by the dealer. (ie the guys in the workshop), We keep copys of all customers stock & modded files. We can even load the stock file back in for servicing if anyone is that concerned. Cost..?..(to nice people) nothing

you might not have it spotted by a dealer, but as if the manufacturer wanted to prove that the software was not original or an insurance company they could easily do it.

If you're a company creating something you are bound to recognise your own work or if someone has tampered with it

Trust me I have had it from a very good source that MINI are totally aware of all tuning files out there and the differences and effects they have on their equipment, it makes sense for them to test them so they know what to look for when dealing with warranty claims

anyway, thats not what this thread is about

I've hd Rolands work on my JCW, and the servicing and warranty work has not been questioned. Not had major warranty work though.

I can confirm that the car flies now. It was quick before, now its blinding. Well worth it if you have grown a little 'used' to the JCW package.

Roland has fitted the full package to my JCW MCS, can't recommend his work highly enough, the car has lost absolutely none of it's everyday driveability around town, doesn't or cough... after years of tuned cars, this is the first one that doesn't make you make any compromises....

The only comment I had from my dealer was it was MUCH faster than their Work 's' racer!!!

What level of upgrade do you have on yours? I PM'd Tonyt3 about this last week, strangely enough and he seems to have a mixture of all of the first three?

I've got everything roland currently does on my car.... started just going to get a simple upgrade... and one thing lead to another... a big bill appeared... but it was all forgotten once I drove the car 10 minutes down the road... still smiling 4 months and 6000 miles later!

how about from an insurance point of view?

is it just a simple phone call? or do they need to know xxx bhp etc etc

or do we just forget to tell them?

I just said 250hp upgrade and they were fine a took my credit card details, again...

It was 20% uplift on the policy over the jcw price, not too bad I thought, still much less than a standard Mitz evo....
