Yellow Cooper Just had my ONE chipped. How fast.....

Went up to Wolverhampton today and got my MINI ONE chipped by performance torque.
Will was a great guy.
While he did the work I had a cup of tea and watched TV.

The work only took about 15 minutes.
We then went for a drive to make sure it was how i wanted.

We did some unofficial 0-62 timing of 7 - 8.5 seconds.

Pulls like anything and the noise it makes with my custom exhaust and induction kit is fantastic.

It cost me £175. He doesn't use MTH but one he has designed. He used to work for superchip and has developed his map over many years. He spent time in Germany developing the map using rolling roads.

I highly recommend him.

If you own a One I can't recommend chipping enough. In fact, it should be top of your list of mods! It totally transfoms the car and motorway driving feels much safer and relaxed too! Best thing i ever did to the car!

Most people with a chipped one claim around the low 8seconds, your prob looking at just over 8secs 0-60 Huge difference from the standard output

I'm intrested to read the above on the mini one.

I have (well Miss's, I have company family car) a mini cooper Conv. I went the website p-torque as I live close to Wolverhampton. I was surprised to see a nice increase for one drivers of 39 horses but only 14 for us Cooper drivers. Has anybody had their Cooper done, is it worth it for £275.

Many Thanks

Ian

Right well.
The guy who did the tuning owns Performance Torque based in Wolverhampton.
My exhaust is a Power Flow exhaust custom fitted by a bloke in Stafford.
My induction is Supa Ram Induction Kit by Ramair Filters

Exhaust: £270
Induction: £60
Tuning: £175

Haven't informed insurance as of yet as waiting for end of this insurance year then moving to a modded insurance company.
