Fair point, have a search on here for reviews on the tuners as its more than a power upgrade. Its about where it make the power, try to find people local to you who have converted cars. I'm sure most will be more than happy to take you for a spin.
Indeed. Thing is people like gtt and lohen do them all the time and must have learnt a fair amount which is bound to provide them with a better knowledge than the average joe tuning shop.
Personaly I'd take the spanners to it myself but I'm in way over my head when it comes to ecu remapping (probably due to the cost of equipment
I know west have done a few and have a good rep so i'll drop them a call tomo see what there prices are like
Anyone around the Guildford area have a Cooper S with a Gtt conversion done?? If so, whats the chances of taking me out for a spin so i can feel the drive / power before i decide which stage to go for.
I went the 220 route with the 1% crank pully, so couldnt have the Janspeed!!
It really makes me laugh out loud more bhp & a massive wave or torque but i get more MPG. As everybody says this is the way a standard S "should" come form the factory.
Yeah its unreal hey, Roland did a top job as always i expect.....Its just scary going down there cause it always cost me 10 times as much as it should have done, like i only went down there for the 220 conversion then ended up with everything and porche brakes
The missus went mad when she saw the bill, and i fitted most of it myself
So im going to get everything posted now
