Vacuum readings

Looking for some information.
From all variety of MINIs.
Those of you with vacuum gauges or boost vacuum gauges.
What's your ;
normal idle reading
70mph cruise reading
reading at WOT ( eyes on the road please)

Post here or PM me. Those readings and the Model

I'm involved in a discussion and this item became a curiosity to me. Never seen the info posted anywhere.

Where are you connecting your guage obe? presumably on the inlet manifold ('T'd off the fuel pressure reg. pipe)

Sorry. Busy today and didn't get back to this.
I haven't hooked one up yet. Gauge pods are too dam expnsive and I'm cheap

This is for my info but if you reall ywant to know why I'm interested start reading this thread from about post #30

I'm just glad I'm not a mod over there.

Hi Obe Holy Macoroni,that thread on NAM is so polluted ,I cant see through it too well.
What specifically was your question ? -I'll have a go at answering it if you like. Ive had upto 4 boost/vacuum guages all running at the same time connected to different points before now

It's a few parts really.
What's normal idle vacuum on a stock car, if possible, and on a well modded car.

And maybe the cruise point like ryephile posted.

And WOT if possible.

Since you've had a number of gauges installed where were the different pickup points and what was the purpose you did this?

Next would be similar readings on a Cooper or even a One.

Readings pre supercharger would be great.

at idle : 14-15 in. HG.

at 70 MPH : 9-10 in.HG.

On WOT : depending at what RPM I'm at... redline (7250rpm) is about 16psi.
