Talking Lpg convertion?!

For those interested, I've just had my Cooper S converted. No loss in performance but a massive increase in economy.

Details: Car does 33mpg on LPG compared with 36 on Petrol this equates to 66mpg (almost) Diesel owners beat that!

I can supply more details if required

Just curious as to where the tank is? Standard practice on other cars seems to be to stick a doughnut shaped tank in spare wheel well.

I'm definitely interested.
Did you get one of the conversion grants (assuming they are still available).
Any warranty issues ?

It's not how fast you go that matters BUT how you go fast.

I'm glag there's interest, tonite I'll post full details including pictures of the conversion. Warranty from BMW on the 'LPG Affected' parts is voided BUT this is replaced (£200) by a warranty by the installer. Took 2 days to install.
