Knocking Noise?

I start my car up and its fine until the auto-choke comes off and there is a rattle (sounds like its comming from the centre under the car or from the front of the car) I give it a little bit of revs and the noise is gone some as when driving, but when its on idle it rattles again. I wobble the exhaust and it doesn't knock against anything and I'm sure its not the engine mount/mounts. What else could it be?

I have the same thing. I have an aftermarket exhaust with the aero kit and it bothered me for about a week untill i got so p***** with it i searched and it was the exhaust. I'm not sayin it is but definatly worth considering.

I've got an aftermarket exhaust as well but with a standard S bumper. Where was the rattle coming from on your car?

The rattle was sort of through the whole car. It was initaially vibrating the bumper then sending the vibration through. If your idle it vibrates throttle it to even 1000rpm and its gone. it was the smallest amount of contact causing this.

Mine is making a similar noise. Turns out its the idler pulley running off the crank.

But its not covered under warranty . Wear n tear apparently.

yeh my cars still makin tghe noise and its so annoyin! but im going to GTT tomoz so im gonna get roland and they guys to see wat they can do for me. when i had the exhaust fitted it was sitting very close to the cut out and the fitters tried heating the brackets to bend them so that it would have more clearace but it didnt do much. Ill let you know what i do or should i say gtt do about it tomoz.

OK don't laugh at me now but I have found what caused the rattle
It was only the loose change in the ashtray in the front cupholder.

Silly me all that fuss for no reason.
