what is the best upgrades to make your mini sound better. i have a JCW exhaust and a K&N 57i induction kit which sounds resonably good and even better when after 4000rpm. but i want something that will be a bit louder and have a more grunt.

Any one no of any good upgrades?

thanks

Not alot more you can do mate apart from, an aftermarket manifold, or changing the filter, or changing the exhaust. If you want more sound for you while driving you could always remove some sound deadening.

I fitted a GTT manifold to my JCW and it sounds awesome. Even louder when running it with the de-cat. I think any manifold will give you more noise and performance, but I have only experienced the GTT one so far.

GTT or milltek are reported to be good, or the Jcw motorsport manifold if you can afford it should be loud!

You coming on the Irish Job run in february djgaz?

How about opening up the panel the intake with a big hole (or several small ones)? That makes the intake quite a bit louder. I have the MyMiniParts intake and the entire rear is panel is open.

Manifold GTT is the nicest I have heard but my Milltek is not bad. For loud filters the 57i is probably one of them but I have heard the HKS for the ONE and Cooper is louder. For exhausts you can get louder than the JCW but thats gonna be 250-500 which you might as well put towards a GTT or Milltek manifold.
