0-102 n 13.35 secs.....

...you would think I would be happy with our new personal best on Saturday but unfortunatley I'm not, we were .14 of a sec of removing the title of Isellem on NAM of the worlds fastest and quickest S (supercharger only) over the 1/4 mile.

We're going to have to fit the cnc head & pistons now as the above was achieved with only a 15% pulley, cam, playmini exhaust manifold and FTR 440cc injectors.

We got 22 runs in Saturday all of them between 13.35 - 13.60

We'll try and post some videos this week

I haven't used any nitrous so far this year , though Isellem has just said on NAM that he might go for my world fastest street tyre title, so if does break my record we'll be out Sunday with the nitrous on getting it back, weather permitting of course.

Wow, quick, ish! Only kidding. Where does all this take place? Is it a spectator sport?!

It takes place at Santa Pod Raceway in Bedfordhire Drag Racing at Santa Pod Raceway UK , you could defintley say its a spectator sport, in theory if we do all the meetings I want to do I'll see a total of 144,000 people this year at various meetings.

But the best bit of all is YOU dont have to be a spectator, YOU can race your MINI up the strip for £20 (must have your driving license) and thats for all day weather permitting, due to attendace this can range from 3-22 races up the strip in a day. more info at Run What Ya Brung (RWYB) - Public Track Day

Now you might think your Mini isn't fast enough but its not about that, its about achieving new personal best et (elapsed time- how quickly you get from the start to the finish) and mph and trying to cut .000 light (perfect reaction)to the christmas tree( starting lights) I've being going for 22 years and still haven't got one

PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING DRAG RACING CAN BE REALLY ADDICTIVE

well done! great times, what sort of 60 ft times do you get?
I have a control unit you may be interested in it allows you to fit extra injectors ,rather than just larger ones and add fuelling during boost conditions or in your case during nitrous injection as well, also it alters mixture if det is approached

If your running Nitrous, i would guess your going to have a fuel supply on the nitrous side,i mean dry kits are just dangerous.

You're right Loui these were no nitrous runs.

You're half right sohc16v nitrous can be dangerous in the wrong hands, but they're are many drag racers out there running dry kits without a problem such as Pat Musi check out Pat Musi Performance

I do prefer a wet kit

Let me rephrase my statement......Dry kits with injectors that are only good enough to flow 190whp are dangerous with a dry kit.
Sure with a well controled set of big injectors, the sky is the limit!!!
