| back box i want to change my back box to a deeper sounding one so i rang my local mini dealer to see if it would void my waranty and basically they wont give me a definate yes or no their just very vague ive changed my lights and lots off other stuff and they have never said anything so has anyone ever had a waranty voided at their mini dealer and what was it for any help is much appreciated |

| Bit of a grey area.. it depends on what fails, and why it has failed. If a component fails due to the fitment of an aftermarket item, the warranty will not be valid. i.e. if you fitted on some huge wheels with wrong offset and then tried to claim a wheel bearing under warranty, then you'd be having problems. Can't think of any real issues that could come from fitting an exhaust. |
