K&N replacement panel filter size

Hi there,

I have decided to replace my std filter with a K&N panel filter. The problem is, when I called the supplier he gave me two sizes. 213X167X24 and 165X215X47. Apparently both for the Cooper S. Mine is an 2005 Model. Can anyone help to tell me which one my car needs? I know I could remove mine and check but I'm just lazy...

Regards

there is only one size for the R53 Cooper S. There was no change to the filter size during the various facelifts etc. Only changes were the difference between the stock S and JCW/Gp or the new R56 filters. All normal R53s were the same. like Roland says those sizes are nothing like correct either...just glanced at mine in the garage and its nearer to Rolands size than the ones you have gotten from the supplier. GTT or Lohen etc in the UK can probably tell you the panel filter code ...or go on the KN website and search on your vehicle age and type and they will give you the product code.
