Hello!

We have now change the software to original and change the pulley to 0% but that is the same problem, when the engine I cold it is ok but when the temperature rise the engine compensate, snatch little and the engine give not full power.

I have change the air filter and the oil in the filter can broke down the sensor in the air quantity meter (I don’t now the English word for it but I Swedish we call it “luftmassemätare”) but when I look in BMW part catalog I cant fond it? What control the air temp or quantity on the Cooper S engine ?

I think that the luftmassematare that you are referring is a map sensor in English. (rough translation with what I could find).

That being said, the symptoms that you describe seem like a super charger bypass valve gone or going bad.

If the bypass valve is gone or going bad, why works the engine when it is cold?

It could be heat (causing metal to change) that is making it go bad. This is a pretty common MINI problem and loss of power is one of the signs.

Can I check the bypass valve or can I BMW dealer do that without to change the valve?

When I drive at 2000-4500rpm the engine look like to give full power but from
4500-6900rpm it compensate, snatch little and the engine give not full power but when the engine is cold it give full power from 2000-6900rpm.

Can a broken air sensor give this problem to?

With you problem I don't know of a way to check it. It is probably better to just swap it out and see if that solves it or take it to a mechanic that has the ability to read the ECU to see if a code has been thrown.
