GTT300 turbo On the track -Castle Combe Fri 31/8/07

Hi Guys, we will be putting our GTT300 Turbo demo car through its paces at Castle Combe race track on Fri 31/8/07. This is a normal CC track day so anyone can book it and go on track. if you are interested in having this conversion come along and have a look. If dry and grippy 1 min 18 seconds is on the cards (road legal tyres) ......thats about 3 to 4 seconds quicker than the fastest cooper challenge cars - and our car is fully road legal.
Best Regards Roland GTT

Why not put one of your own cars on the track? Instructors are available if your new to it.
Our testing is to ensure that our cars stand up to severe punishment , and responds correctly to various throttle demands/revs/gear/sboost etc with good water (equal cylinder) & charge air cooling systems . We're not doing passenger rides as this is the final part of our GTT300T testing programme. Customers may be able to come out as passengers on the Mini Action Day at Castle Combe end of Sept.

I think i may just have to pop over and see the car on track and see how it goes. What a good time to chat to both Paul and Roland.. two birds one stone and all that...

I dont, in fact I quite openly admit that I'm a crap driver, not smooth I unsettle the car to much etc etc.

I was amazed how difficult it was to get a lap which i thought was right when I was invited to a Supercar day out by a customer, I have a lot of respect for drivers / crews.

Unfortunatley after talking to guys at Lohen at British Mini Showdown I realise it could be another addiction espically as if the wind is blowing in the right direction we can here them going around Palmers place at Thurleigh (2-3 miles as the crow flys)

I cant honestly see us spending money on suspension this year as hooking up the turbo is the next big money pit as I need to stick to one addiction at a time

Once you've tried corners, there's no going back!

What format is the track day? Is it on open pit where they only allow 20 on track at one time, or sessions assigned like the action day?

Sure. Being my passenger is like going to the swimming pool; please dont eat at least 1/2 hour before jumping in

I wont know if I am going for another week or two.

You going to track yours? Even if its on stock suspension its well worth doing. Castle Coombe is awesome.
