BMW Show Quick 16 Shootout (Minis Wanted)

New for 2007 – Quick 16 Eliminations: At 4pm the quickest 16 rwyb cars across all classes will go into a 16 car elimination ladder to find the quickest BMW at Ultimate BMW Show 2007.

So Mini2ers we must see if we can make sure the quick 16 comprises mainly of Minis, I'm sure there must be more than16 Minis on this board that make more than 230bhp.

The ones I can think off are;

Confirmed
1320autos 330bhp 11.77 @ 115
1320autos Silver mule car
Admos 03,cooperGTT230
Adam MiniMania 260bhp
Louis 230bhp
MiniPetrolHead 225bhp
John 255bhp
Dan 230bhp

Unconfirmed

Karl aka GTT270

Otherwise Engaged

Graham GRS 256bhp
Supercoopers 260ish
Roland GTT350bhp

So If you think you should be on the list let us know and I'll add you, also if people can confirm that there coming I'll add that as well.

All classes means that you can use slicks, so if you can still fit a 15 inch wheel its the way to go.

Last year the bump spot i.e No16 was 13.48

If you can get some 205/50-15 Toyo 888 or dragslicks thiswill help you out no end as this is all about the elapsed time so the quicker 60ft you can get the quicker et you will get.

We will have the correct tools onthe day for seat removal (100lbs = 1/10th)

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the invite, but this event is the week before Castle Combe Mini track day which I'm doing with both mini's, plus my work schedule is building up, so I'm sorry, but not this year for me..

Have fun though

Graham

Come on guys there must be loads out there with enough horsepower to take on the M3 posse.

It would be nice to see 8 minis qualified.

Maybe you weren't aware but I'm not running a turbo at the mo. The only thing FTR are the JE pistons on my car. The rest is GTT (about 260ish BHP, not 300 ). I'm more than happy with this setup and am happy to have my car back on the road!

Cheers,

Henry
